The Crofton area

Being a village in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Crofton is in the perfect location for AR Removals to operate around. The population of the village was around 5,700 back in 2011.

Traditionally a farming community back in the 1900s, Crofton has grown from strength to strength in recent years and is a tight-knit community with a large Anglican Church as its focal point. Crofton has a number of sports teams, and is right in the heart of what is locally known as Rugby Land.

Most famously, the two eldest Bronte sisters attended at Mrs Wilson’s School at Crofton Hall.
