Pack early
Pets can get extremely nervous and anxious when there is a lot of change. Understanding that you are about to put them through a change into completely new surroundings, you should aim to disturb them as little as possible. By packing early, the changes can be less intimidating as opposed to everything on one or two days.
Don’t box them in
If you decide to take your pets with you on the move then how you handle them is very important. Most pets are extremely claustrophobic so bare this in mind with how you transport them. Don’t put your pets in a dark box this will only terrify them. Try and buy a suitable cage that is spacious and has lots of access to natural light and air holes.
